Super Jerusalem (1 day by bus) SSH
Swim in one of the saltiest bodies of water on the planet - the Dead Sea. This is a salt lake that washes the shores of Jordan and Israel. The only surviving part after the destruction of the Second Temple by the Romans in 70 BC, the greatest shrine of Judaism is the Wailing Wall. The wall, for many centuries, has been a symbol of faith and hope for the entire Jewish people.
We will definitely walk along Via Dolorosa Street, along which, according to Christian tradition, the path of Jesus Christ to the place of crucifixion, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, ran. It was at that place, according to the legend of the 4th century, that Jesus Christ was crucified, buried, and then resurrected.
The Mount of Olives offers an excellent view of Jerusalem m. Unique throughout the world, the Jaffa Gate is the main gate of the Christian and Armenian quarters, a stone portal in the historical walls of the Old City. The Basilica of the Nativity is a Christian church in Bethlehem, which is built over the birthplace of Jesus, one of the two main Christian temples. We will also visit the Al-Aqsa Mosque, which is the third shrine of Islam, the first qibla and the second mosque built on the ground. At the foot of Mount Hermon, the Jordan River originates - the place of the baptism of Jesus, washing in it will be the end of our excursion.
